Semi-permanent makeup is a complexion colour treatment for the eyes, brows and lips, to enhance features, add definition to the face or resolve possible concerns. It is an advanced technique with multiple benefits, as it can make subtle changes in the shape, colour, or symmetry of your features. The correct style of the technique can return a youthful appearance, and be a permanent solution for your skin. Not only for enhancing features, semi-permanent makeup can also be an amazing choice for those who suffer from alopecia (hair loss), hypopigmentation (loss of colour) or facial scars.
We offer a range of semi-permanent makeup services. With colours from corals to pinks, to nudes and roses for lips, from ashes to warm chocolate for liner and brows, we can transform you and bring your confidence to another level. If you feel that you want a special hue for the colour, it can be premixed specially for you (you can also show a reference if you have any desired expectation) and you can test it prior to the procedure.
There is so much you can do if you wish to go for this treatment, you can recreate a cat eye look, create an illusion of fullness for your lips, add volume or adjust the shape of your brows. Whatever your goals are, our semi-permanent makeup specialists will tailor your treatment to your needs. You don’t need to worry about your safety as our medical aestheticians are trained at the highest health & safety standards and we only use trustworthy pigment providers on the market.
We are happy to invite you for a consultation where your bespoke treatment plan will be discussed.
This treatment can be combined with the following procedures:
The combination of treatments can be discussed at your consultation following with the bespoke treatment plan.
Your pre-treatment procedure is based on the type of procedure you want to do. You are welcome to bring a reference or favourite makeup tool, shade or palette, so we can achieve your expectations as much as possible. We would also carry out a patch test to make sure you do not have any adverse reactions towards the pigments. We can also test the shape and style to see how it would suit you, and whether we can find a perfect way to enhance your beauty. Once you are happy to proceed, you can book your appointment in 48 hours after the patch test.
You would need to avoid taking alcohol, aspirin or anti-inflammatory medications 48 hours prior to the treatment.
Also, avoid Retin A skincare products about six weeks before your procedure. Depending on your skin’s sensitivity, treated areas may be swollen during the procedure. So, you may want to reschedule social events on your appointment day if they’d make you uncomfortable.
The practices to adopt pre-treatment varies, depending on the services you opt for, which would be discussed at the consultation stage and explained to you accordingly.
You can expect the colour to be quite bright in the first couple of days after the treatment. While lymph and blood go up to the epidermal layer and form a crust that will be gradually peeled off. Allow full healing time to be completed before judging the final results (normally, 4 to 6 weeks healing time). For most treatments you would need a top up after the first session, as the pigment can go 50% lighter once fully healed. That’s why we recommend a second session to make final adjustments and boost the colour.
For the first seven days, we recommend using the ointment provided by our specialists (the ointment and recommendation would vary depending on the procedure, as in some cases you may only need to keep the area dry and clean).
Also, avoid scratching your skin, as itchiness is a sign your skin is healing. Therefore, scratching an area will cause scarring, and infection, slowing the healing process and affecting the final results. Avoid moisturizers, oils, lotions, and makeup products on treated areas after your procedure. Finally, avoid excessive sun exposure to protect treated areas effectively.

Contour Technique
This procedure creates long lasting results. However, the duration depends on your procedure type, as different zones respond in a slightly different way. Also, depending on expectations, we sometimes use different pigments which differ in the time they stay in the skin. For example, semi-permanent eyebrows could last about a year, while lip blush may go on for about three years, without any need of correction or a touch up.
As with every invasive procedure, there is always fear that something would go wrong – healing process would not go as expected, results may not match your expectations and so on. It is important for us that you feel well taken cared of. That’s why we offer full support during your healing process, and a review option where we can discuss a plan of action if needed.
Most complications happen due to aftercare, as the first 3 to 5 days are really important to keep an eye on the treatment area. The process itself may seem a bit long – to wait around 6 weeks for final results, that’s why we encourage you to leave a review online, or in-clinic to share your feedback with us.
You can remove your semi-permanent makeup, however, you should be aware that removing any ink would take a long time. and we cannot guarantee the number of procedures you would need if you decide to remove the results.
