Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights.

1.2 Treatments are not a substitute for medical diagnosis, GP care, consultant care, emergency care or treatment of underlying medical conditions.
1.3 The Clinic does not diagnose medical conditions.
1.4 The Clinic may refuse, postpone, adapt, reduce, discontinue or decline treatment where it considers this appropriate.
1.5 The Clinic may request further information, medical clearance, blood tests, prescription review, test area, patch test, photographs or additional consultation before proceeding.
1.6 By booking or proceeding, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
1.7 You must tell the Clinic about any change in your health, medication, pregnancy status, treatment history or circumstances before treatment.
- Age, Consent and Suitability
2.1 You must be at least 18 years old unless the Clinic has agreed otherwise in writing.
2.2 All treatments are subject to suitability assessment and practitioner discretion.
2.3 Booking, paying for or attending an appointment does not guarantee that treatment will be provided.
2.4 Consent forms must be completed where required.
2.5 Signing a consent form does not guarantee treatment will proceed.
2.6 Treatment may be changed, delayed, reduced, refused or stopped if suitability or safety concerns arise.
- Practitioner Allocation
3.1 Treatment with a specific practitioner is not guaranteed.
3.2 Practitioner allocation may change at any time.
3.3 The Clinic is not required to provide advance notice of practitioner changes.
3.4 A change of practitioner does not entitle you to cancel outside the cancellation policy, avoid fees, receive a refund, claim compensation, request free treatment or extend a package.
- Children, Pets and Conduct
4.1 Pets are not permitted on Clinic premises, except registered assistance dogs where approved by the Clinic.
4.2 Children may only attend if supervised at all times.
4.3 Children are not permitted in treatment rooms unless they are the registered patient.

4.5 The Clinic has a zero-tolerance policy for abuse, aggression, harassment, intimidation, discrimination, threats, coercion or inappropriate behaviour.
4.6 The Clinic may refuse treatment, ask a person to leave, terminate the patient relationship and involve authorities where appropriate.
- Bookings and Appointment Confirmation
5.1 Appointments are only confirmed once the required payment has been received.
5.2 Required payment may include a booking fee, consultation fee, prepayment, package payment, course redemption, gift card redemption, instalment payment or membership entitlement.
5.3 A written appointment confirmation does not secure an appointment unless the required payment has been received.
5.4 Without payment, the appointment may be cancelled or offered to another patient.
5.5 Appointment reminders are a courtesy and are not guaranteed.
5.6 It is your responsibility to attend on time.
5.7 Failure to receive a reminder does not remove cancellation, lateness or no-show fees.
- Preparation, Lateness, Cancellations and No-Shows
6.1 You must follow all preparation and suitability instructions given by the Clinic.
6.2 Failure to follow preparation or suitability instructions may result in reduced treatment time, treatment refusal, rescheduling, loss of booking fee, loss of prepaid session or additional charges.
6.3 If you arrive late, the Clinic may reduce, adapt, cancel or reschedule the appointment.
6.4 If there is not enough time to treat safely, the appointment will be treated as a late cancellation or no-show.
6.5 Required written notice to cancel or reschedule is:
24 hours for standard appointments
48 hours for weight-loss consultations
48 hours for appointments scheduled on a Monday
6.6 If you cancel late, reschedule late, fail to attend, arrive too late to be treated safely, or cannot proceed because requirements have not been followed, the applicable fee or session is forfeited.
6.7 Booking fees, consultation fees, prepaid sessions, gift card deductions, loyalty points and complimentary follow-up entitlements may be forfeited.
6.8 Cancellation and no-show fees are applied consistently and are not negotiated by front of house, practitioners or individual team members.
6.9 This does not affect your statutory rights.
6.10 If the Clinic cancels your appointment and cannot offer a suitable alternative, the Clinic will refund or transfer the booking fee, subject to any lawful deductions for goods, products or services already supplied.
- Consultation Fees
7.1 Standard consultations are charged at £30.

7.4 Weight-loss consultation fees are non-redeemable.
7.5 Weight-loss consultations require 48 hours’ written notice to cancel or reschedule.
7.6 Late cancellation, late rescheduling or non-attendance results in forfeiture of the consultation fee.
7.7 Consultation fees remain payable if you are unsuitable for treatment or choose not to proceed.
- Courses, Packages, Gift Cards and Memberships
8.1 Courses, packages and prepaid sessions are valid for 12 months from purchase unless stated otherwise in writing.
8.2 Where an instalment plan is used, validity starts from the first instalment date.
8.3 Courses, packages and prepaid treatments are non-refundable and non-transferable, except where required by law or confirmed by the Clinic in writing.
8.4 Courses and packages cannot be exchanged for other services or products unless confirmed by the Clinic in writing.
8.5 Expiry dates are fixed.
8.6 Unused sessions after expiry are forfeited, subject to statutory rights.
8.7 Late cancellation, late rescheduling, non-attendance, late arrival or inability to proceed results in loss of the relevant prepaid session.
8.8 Purchasing a course or package does not guarantee a result, outcome, measurement change, improvement or number of sessions required.
8.9 Gift cards have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
8.10 Gift cards are subject to the expiry date and usage terms stated at purchase.
8.11 Lost, expired or unused gift cards are not refunded, subject to statutory rights.
8.12 Late cancellation, late rescheduling, non-attendance, late arrival or inability to proceed for a gift card booking results in £30 being deducted from the gift card balance.
8.13 Membership benefits, if offered, are subject to the membership terms provided at the time of joining.
8.14 Membership benefits have no cash value and are not transferable unless confirmed by the Clinic in writing.
- Pricing, Quotations and Promotions
9.1 Prices may change at any time without prior notice.
9.2 The price payable is the price in force on the day of treatment or purchase unless agreed otherwise in writing.
9.3 Previous prices, older price lists, previous attendance, verbal indications or social media posts do not guarantee current pricing.
9.4 Written bespoke quotations are valid for 14 days from the date of issue.
9.5 Promotions are valid only for the stated period.
9.6 Promotions cannot be applied retrospectively.
9.7 Discounts, packages, loyalty rewards, referral rewards and bespoke offers cannot be combined unless confirmed by the Clinic in writing.
- Payments, Instalment Plans and Payment Verification
10.1 Payment is required at booking, purchase or treatment unless agreed otherwise in writing.
10.2 The Clinic may require full payment before treatment.
10.3 Instalment plans are a payment method only.
10.4 Instalment plans do not change the package price, expiry date, refund policy, transfer policy, cancellation policy or obligation to pay.
10.5 By entering into an instalment plan, you agree to the separate Instalment Payment Agreement.
10.6 Instalments must be paid on the agreed dates.
10.7 If an instalment is missed, late, reversed, disputed or unpaid, treatment may be paused and appointments may be cancelled.
10.8 Outstanding balances, late fees, overdue charges, administration costs, bank charges, processing costs and recovery costs may be charged in line with the Instalment Payment Agreement.
10.9 Instalment plans do not extend course or package expiry.
10.10 The Clinic may require identity or payment verification for selected services, high-value bookings, instalment plans, prescription treatments, third-party payments, safeguarding concerns or payment mismatch.
10.11 Failure to provide or maintain required verification or a valid payment method may result in refusal of service, suspension of treatment, cancellation of appointments or termination of an instalment plan.
Package and Instalment Choice
10.12.1 Patients are not required to purchase a package or pay by instalments.
10.13Patients may choose to pay as they go at the Clinic’s normal individual treatment prices.
10.14 Packages may offer a lower overall price than paying per session, but they remain subject to the Clinic’s package terms, expiry dates, cancellation policy, refund policy and suitability requirements.
10.15 Instalment plans are a method of spreading the cost of a package only. They do not change the package purchased, package price, expiry date, refund policy, transfer policy, cancellation policy or treatment suitability requirements.
- Additional Suitability Steps, Prescriptions and Consumables
11.1 Some treatments require additional suitability steps before treatment can proceed.
11.2 These may include test areas, patch tests, blood tests, medical clearance, prescription review, phlebotomy, cannulation or preparation products.
11.3 Booking or paying does not guarantee that treatment, prescription medication, IV therapy, injectable treatment or any product will be supplied or administered.
11.4 The Clinic, practitioner or prescriber may refuse, change, delay or stop treatment where clinically appropriate.
11.5 Test areas and patch tests are chargeable unless confirmed otherwise.
11.6 A test area or patch test does not guarantee that the full treatment will be reaction-free.
11.7 If you do not proceed within the stated period, or you are unsuitable, the test area, patch test, consultation or assessment fee remains payable and non-refundable, subject to statutory rights.
11.8 For treatments involving venous access, the practitioner will usually make up to two attempts unless it is clinically inappropriate to continue.
11.9 If suitable venous access cannot be obtained, treatment may be abandoned or rescheduled. A £30 appointment fee plus consumable costs may still apply.
11.10 Some treatments require preparation kits or staged treatment plans.
11.11 Where a preparation kit is required, treatment is deemed to start when the kit is issued.
11.12 Preparation products must be used as directed.
11.13 Failure to follow preparation instructions may affect safety, suitability, results and timing.
11.14 Products, medicines, vials, syringes, consumables, prep kits and treatment materials opened, used, dispensed or prepared specifically for you are non-refundable, subject to statutory rights.
11.15 Choosing fewer units, lines, vials, syringes, products or sessions than recommended may reduce effectiveness and does not entitle you to a refund, complaint, free top-up or free correction.
- Reviews, Touch-Ups and Follow-Up Appointments
12.1 Reviews, adjustments and touch-ups are not guaranteed.
12.2 They are subject to treatment type, clinical suitability, timing, safety, product availability and practitioner discretion.
12.3 Anti-wrinkle injections may include one complimentary review or adjustment, if clinically appropriate, between 2 and 3 weeks after treatment.
12.4 No free anti-wrinkle top-ups are provided after 3 weeks.
12.5 Additional doses are chargeable.
12.6 Any remaining opened product is subject to safety, storage and disposal rules.
12.7 Cosmetic dissatisfaction alone does not entitle you to free repeat treatment, refund, compensation or package extension.
12.8 Review appointments, recovery support, corrective treatments, homecare, prescriptions, medical letters, blood tests, referrals and additional sessions may carry additional costs.
- Clinical Photography, Records and Privacy
13.1 Clinical photography is a standard and required part of many treatments.
13.2 Clinical photographs may be used for assessment, treatment planning, monitoring, comparison, clinical records, training, supervision, auditing, insurance, medico-legal compliance and defence of claims.
13.3 Clinical photographs are stored securely with your treatment records.
13.4 Marketing, social media, website, promotional or external educational use of images is optional and requires separate consent.
13.5 Refusing marketing image use does not affect treatment.
13.6 Clinical records, including images, are retained in line with company policy, insurer requirements, professional standards and data-protection law.
13.7 How we collect, store and use personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
13.8 Internal protocols, device-setting frameworks, training materials, prescribing templates, business methods, product-selection methods and proprietary clinical or commercial information are confidential business information and are not part of your patient record unless disclosure is required by law.
- Results, Risks and Aftercare
14.1 Treatments are provided with reasonable care, skill and professional judgement.
14.2 Results are not guaranteed.
14.3 Outcomes vary between patients.
14.4 You are paying for practitioner time, expertise, clinical judgement, products, equipment and treatment delivery, not for a guaranteed result.
14.5 Before-and-after photographs show individual outcomes only.
14.6 Side effects and known treatment risks can occur even when treatment is provided with reasonable care and skill.
14.7 Treatment risks are explained in treatment-specific consent forms.
14.8 Failure to follow pre-care, aftercare or appointment schedules may affect results, increase risks and limit review or support options.
14.9 Review, post-treatment care, homecare, supportive treatment, corrective treatment, GP review, specialist referral or urgent care may be recommended.
14.10 Review appointments, supportive treatments, corrective treatments, products, prescriptions, medical letters and referrals may be chargeable.
14.11 Medical emergencies must be managed by NHS 111, 999, A&E, your GP or an appropriate medical service.
- Pigmentation, Scars, Stretch Marks and Skin Tightening
15.1 Aesthetic treatments may cause temporary or longer-lasting pigmentary change.
15.2 Pigmentary risk cannot be eliminated completely.
15.3 Treatments for scars, stretch marks, skin tightening, resurfacing and texture concerns may improve appearance but cannot guarantee complete correction.
15.4 Improvement in texture does not guarantee improvement in colour.
15.5 Colour, redness or pigmentation may require separate staged treatment, pigment-control treatment, vascular treatment or home care.
15.6 These may be chargeable, subject to statutory rights.
- Pregnancy and New Medical Contraindications
16.1 You must tell the Clinic as soon as possible if you become pregnant, start breastfeeding, develop a medical condition, start medication or receive medical advice that makes treatment unsuitable.
16.2 The Clinic may request written confirmation from your GP, consultant or treating clinician before adjusting any course or package.
16.3 If a course or package becomes unsuitable due to pregnancy or a new medical contraindication, a cash refund will not normally be provided.
16.4 Remaining value may be converted into in-clinic credit after deductions.
16.5 Deductions may include sessions already taken, consultation fees, cancellation fees, no-show fees, consumables, products, administration costs and payment costs.
16.6 Credit may only be used against clinically suitable treatments or products.
16.7 Credit is not transferable unless confirmed in writing.
16.8 Credit does not extend beyond the original expiry date unless required by law.
16.9 This does not affect statutory rights.
- Refunds
17.1 Products purchased in clinic are non-refundable once sold, subject to statutory rights.
17.2 Services, courses, packages, memberships and gift cards are non-refundable, subject to statutory rights.
17.3 Refunds are not provided for change of mind, personal circumstances, relocation, travel, failure to attend, failure to schedule appointments, failure to follow preparation or aftercare, dissatisfaction with an expected aesthetic outcome, or results that vary due to individual response.
17.4 Dissatisfaction with an aesthetic outcome does not entitle you to a refund, free treatment, compensation, package extension or additional treatment.
17.5 Concerns must be raised through the Clinic’s complaints procedure.
- Complaints
18.1 If you are unhappy with any aspect of your experience, you must raise your concern with the Clinic.
18.2 Clinical complaints usually require an in-person review.
18.3 Failure to attend review may limit the Clinic’s ability to investigate or respond.
18.4 Formal complaints must be submitted in writing to:
info@continentalskinclinic.co.uk
18.5 Written complaints must include your full name, contact details, treatment details, appointment date, clear description of concerns and photographs where relevant.
18.6 Written complaints will be acknowledged within 10 working days.
18.7 The Clinic may request further information or ask you to attend review.
18.8 Once relevant information is received, the Clinic aims to provide a full written response within 20 working days from the date of acknowledgment.
18.9 If more time is required, the Clinic will inform you.
18.10 After a final written response, the Clinic is not obliged to reopen the complaint unless new and material information becomes available.
- Loyalty Points and Referral Rewards
19.1 Loyalty points and referral rewards are discretionary benefits.
19.2 They have no cash value.
19.3 They are non-refundable and non-transferable.
19.4 They cannot be exchanged for money.
19.5 The Clinic may amend, suspend or withdraw loyalty or referral schemes at any time.
19.6 Loyalty points and referral rewards may only be redeemed against eligible services or products as specified by the Clinic.
19.7 Late cancellation, late rescheduling, non-attendance, late arrival or inability to proceed may result in forfeiture of loyalty points or referral rewards used for that appointment.
- Accessibility and Reasonable Adjustments
20.1 Please tell us before your appointment if you require reasonable adjustments.
20.2 The Clinic will consider reasonable adjustments where safe, lawful and practical.
20.3 Some adjustments may not be possible in clinical areas because of hygiene, infection control, laser safety, treatment safety, equipment restrictions or room limitations.
- Verbal Information and Written Precedence
21.1 No team member is authorised to guarantee a specific result, duration of result, number of sessions required, absence of side effects, refund entitlement, free treatment or outcome not documented in writing.
