Is carbon peel the same as Hollywood peel?

Carbon laser peel is also called Hollywood peel.

Referred to as “Hollywood Laser Peel” because initially, celebrities often requested the treatment before they appeared on the red carpet.

Now, the carbon peel is not limited to celebrities. Anyone can undergo the procedure to improve their appearance.

How often can I do carbon laser peel?

You can repeat the procedure every two to three weeks. However, we recommend a course of 6 treatments if you’re targeting a specific skin concern. We also suggest completing the treatment 1-2 days ahead of any event you’re attending, as this is when skin can look its best after the procedure.

As a safe and non-invasive procedure, you can perform a carbon laser peel on a monthly basis without complications. We recommend regular treatments for optimal and long-term results. Keeping treatments two to three weeks apart allows collagen regeneration for the best outcome. However, this doesn’t mean you can’t undergo the carbon peel one-off. You can. It all boils down to your needs and goals.

Is carbon peel safe?

Laser carbon peel is entirely safe. It is non-invasive and doesn’t produce any skin complications. Although carbon laser peel treatment doesn’t cause significant side effects, it should be done by a professional.

We always suggest booking a consultation with one of our aesthetic therapists prior to the treatment, so we can appropriately decide if this treatment is suitable for you.
