Polynucleotide Skin Booster

Our skin undergoes changes like dehydration, sagging and dullness as we age. These changes can be treated and potentially prevented by boosting products to improve skin health. Polynucleotides are a wide range of products that act on skin cells to induce collagen and elastin production and help with dehydration for an ultimate rejuvenated effect.

What is Polynucleotide Skin Booster?

Polynucleotides are long chains of nucleotides that are the main components of the DNA and RNA in our cells. DNA and RNA are the basic elements of cell reproduction and genetic information in our cells. Furthermore, they play an important role in different stages of cell reproduction and are the ultimate guidance for the cells to make them work properly and produce proteins and other essential components.

Therefore, when we introduce polynucleotides to the cells, they can help in cell proliferation and rejuvenation, accelerating the healing process. They also make the skin cells produce more collagen and elastin, which helps improve the elasticity, strength and structure of the skin. Additionally, polynucleotides possess anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant properties that address skin concerns like acne, hair loss, and sun damage.

This treatment can be combined with the following procedures:

It’s important to have a thorough consultation with your medical professional before your treatment. During the consultation, you must disclose any medical condition, medication, allergies, or past adverse reactions to the treatments. This information allows us to assess the best treatment option for you and make informed decisions regarding your care.

Furthermore, if you plan to get any other skin care treatments, such as injections, chemical peels, or energy-based treatments, they should also be assessed to determine the best timeline to achieve the best results and avoid any side effects.

It’s best not to drink alcohol or to take some specific medications like Ibuprofen to avoid getting excessive bruises or swelling from the injection

After the polynucleotide injection, you can expect some swelling, bruises, redness, and tenderness in the treatment area based on the technique used for the injection. There may also be some spot bleeding from the needle penetration. These side effects are completely normal and may take a couple of days to subside.

To minimise the risk of side effects, avoid consuming alcohol and spicy foods for at least 48 hours following treatment. Do not rub, touch, or wash the treated area for at least four hours after treatment to avoid infection.

Also, avoid strenuous exercise, excessive heat, or flushing on the skin, like a hot shower or sauna, for at least 48 hours after the injection. Should you want to have any other aesthetic treatments, make sure to ask your medical professional to find the best time and procedure for you.

Finally, if you notice any excessive swelling, redness, bruise, skin mottling, pain, or experience fever, seek immediate help from our team or other healthcare professionals.

How do polynucleotides work?

The polynucleotide skin booster can improve our skin and hair’s overall health in different ways. They are the basic components of DNA and RNA, so they help in cell proliferation. This proliferation can accelerate healing, renew skin cells, and address various skin concerns. Furthermore, DNA and RNA also play important roles in the protein proliferation process. By introducing polynucleotides to the cells, we can increase collagen and elastin production. This is also helpful in boosting hair follicles to improve hair density.

The other benefit of polynucleotide injections is their anti-inflammatory components, which help with inflammatory conditions of the skin such as acne and rosacea. They can also reduce the inflammation in the hair follicles to address hair loss. Additionally, they have an anti-oxidation effect, which helps with overall cellular health and sun damage.

Is the effect of polynucleotide injections permanent?

The polynucleotide injection’s boosting effect is long-term; however, to achieve long-lasting results, you need maintenance treatments after a certain amount of time.

Are polynucleotide skin boosters the same as dermal fillers?

Most dermal fillers contain hyaluronic acid, which causes volumising with a filling effect. This means there will not be any tissue-boosting effect to produce collagen and elastin. We achieve an overall rejuvenation without any volumising or changes to the shape of the face from polyucleotide injections.

What are the benefits of the polynucleotide skin booster?

Polynucleotides are one of the most potent skin boosters available in the market.

You can benefit from the natural effects of polynucleotide injections without causing any changes to the shape of your face or serious complications.

It’s worth mentioning that there are different skin boosters available. Some can be used for the face, neck, decolletage, and hands, and some are designed specifically to address hair density and hair quality issues.

Are there any side effects of the polynucleotide skin booster?

Polynucleotide injection is a safe and effective treatment, but like any other treatment involving injection, we can expect some side effects. These consist of self-resolving reactions to the injection point, such as bruises, swelling, redness, and bleeding. Also, there could be more serious complications like infection and hypersensitivity, which your medical professionals could address accordingly.

What’s the difference between the polynucleotide skin booster and other skin boosters?

While all skin boosters can help with rejuvenation, polynucleotides have unique natural boosting properties that distinguish them from other available boosters. The doctors at our clinic can help you decide the best product based on your skin concerns.

Yes! Clinical studies have demonstrated that polynucleotide gel injection is an effective treatment option for decreasing hair shedding and increasing the mean thickness of the hairs, with a high patient satisfaction and safety profile in male and female androgenic alopecia.

You will start to see results from around 6 weeks – 3 months after starting treatment.

The first thing we do is ensure your scalp is squeaky clean. The injection process itself is relatively straightforward to keep discomfort at a minimum. For the best results, a series of treatments is recommended.

Polynucleotides for hair restoration: When the solution is injected into the scalp, it awakens dormant hair follicles and stimulates them to produce the essential components that contribute to stronger hair growth and scalp revitalisation.

Although polynucleotides have a long-lasting effect, they are not permanent treatments.
